Description

Villa Selva is a lovely space perched on the second floor overlooking the jungle. It is great for brid watching and seeing the monkeys scamper through the trees.

Selva is one of six villas at Villas Espavel. All 6 villas share the glorious pool, river access, an outdoor dining room and the bird's nest yoga space. Selva and the other 5 villas also have their own private outdoor space. Villas Espavel is a 5 to 10-minute walk to the beach, restaurants, Intercultura Language School and The Costa Rica School of Massage.

Villa Selva is a 1 bed / 1 bathroom second floor villa with a fold out couch for an additional guest. Selva has a well-equipped kitchen and a large outside balcony for dining and relaxing. The bedroom has air conditioning, an orthopedic queen mattress, comfortable pillows, and reading lights. The room allows you to settle in and unpack with shelves and clothes hanging space . There is also a combination safe for your valuables. The bathroom has a large shower with hot water.

In the kitchen there’s a 4-burner electric stove and all the kitchen implements you’ll need to prepare beautiful meals. There are 3 powerful ceiling fans and bedroom air conditioning to keep you cool. The ample covered balcony, complete with a dining table, rocking chairs, and a hammock will be the place you want to stay forever, a favorite pass-time is swinging in the hammock or rocking in the teak rocking chairs while looking at the green jungle beyond the railing.

Villas Espavel is very secure as the property is hidden away down a long driveway. All the windows have window screens and security bars.

You will see our manager, Tano, our head cleaner, Magali, and our gardener, Caliche, onsite most days and they will be available to answer your questions and help you settle in. We have a washer available if you need one during your stay.

Villa Selva was perfect!

“Everything about our stay at the Villa Selva was perfect! The balcony was an awesome place to unwind and we had great views of the lovely pool and garden. Tano and the rest of the staff were gracious and accommodating, and we were near everything Samara had to offer, while having a little space away from the bustle and noise. We would most definitely stay here again.”

Great kitchen stocked with quality pots, pans, and knives. Loved the 'take one leave one' beer in the fridge and coffee to get started. The yoga rancho was a wonderful extra shared space for stretching or reflecting in front of the wall of jungle. I recommend the bike rental for quick zips to the beach and grocery store. Everything was high quality, clean, professional, and secure. Thank you! I hope to return.

We LOVED staying here. The Villa's were all unique and very comfortable. The food was amazing, the pool recharging and the proximity to the beach and the town were a huge asset. Being close to everything yet tucked away and very very quiet make the retreat a very personal memorable event. we will come again

My 3rd stay at Villas Espavel and just a nice as the previous stays. Many of my friends visited and immediately got in touch with the management to see about renting next year. Great location and beautiful layout and surroundings. Friendly and professional staff, safe and secure. I'm booked again next year!

My wife and I have stayed 2 years in a row and are going back again

What a hidden gem,my wife and I have stayed two years now and are going back again next year. The hosts are fabulous, helpful, knowledgeable, multilingual and just super nice people. The location is perfect for a walk downtown or to the beach. The our casita was perfect for the two of us, nice afternoon breezes, well outfitted kitchen and comfortable bed. There is a nice pool and common grill area if you want to do a cookout. They have bikes on premises, handy if you want to explore the area. The entire area is secure wtih a gated entry, all the casitas have their own locks and did I mention there is WiFi everywhere on the property? Wake up to the birds and often a howler monkey or two, just the perfect place to stay in Samara.
